Boy Alerts 911 About Charred Cookie Emergency Bazetta, Ohio-AP -- When you're four years old, it's pretty urgent when mom burns the gingerbread man. So urgent that a boy in Bazetta, Ohio, called 9-1-1. It happened Thursday night. On the emergency dispatcher's recording, the boy says, ``Mom, it's the firemen, I told them we have an emergency.'' As his voice trails off, he adds ``... and we really do.'' The police chief says an officer went to the boy's home and told him there was no need to fret -- gingerbred men don't breathe and don't bleed. A dispatcher says the officer brought the burned gingerbread man and five other cookies back to the 9-1-1 Center, for sentimental value.
